Application development - Microsoft .Net, ASP.Net, *VB6*, *Classic ASP*, SQL & Stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server. Resource Manager, technology leadership - application and project. .NET required. client/server applications, Web/Application servers - Microsoft IIS, WebSphere, or their Open Source counterparts, SQL, relational databases (SQL Server , DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL) and server OS (Windows , UNIX/Linux) exposure. Required Skills: Minimum of 5 years application/system development experience and Bachelor’s Degree with significant coursework in Computer Science, or the equivalent technical experience. Proven system analysis, programming, and problem-solving/diagnostic capabilities. Structured programming knowledge. Ability to understand and support technical direction, assess business requirements, and support system specification development. Client server application development experience required. Preferred experience includes Object-Oriented application development exposure (.Net , Java, VB, ASP), client/server applications, Web/Application servers - Microsoft IIS, WebSphere, or their Open Source counterparts, Portal – WebSphere Portal, SQL, relational databases (SQL Server , DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL) and server OS (Windows , UNIX/Linux) exposure. Working experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and MS Outlook are required. Entity-relationship modeling within major relational databases (SQL Server , Oracle, or DB2) and writing stored procedures. Knowledge of rules engines a benefit (DROOLS). Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. Completes projects with medium to high levels of complexity with supervision. Demonstrated experience executing and managing production communications with the development team, production support teams, and the customer.
