*Control M Specialsit Desktop/Manager NYC, NY. (This is a backfill). 1 year contract w extensions. Today Interview* *MUST HAVES:* 4+ years of application support and troubleshooting experience with Control-M Desktop/Manager 6.0 or 7.0. Will be sitting in the Software development team! 8+ years of IT experience. Experience developing and debugging PowerShell (Unix and Dos shell scripting - bash/zsh/DOS batch scripting in addition to VB and Perl scripting.) Experience with SFTP/SSH file transfer and PGP/GPG encryption. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to directly engage with senior leaders in the technology organization ** Should have experience transferring data to a 3rd party, creating wrappers, and creating automation and jobs. *PLUS: *Knowledge of SCM, NANT, SQLPLUS *Role:* Client is looking for a consultant with BMC Control-M and scripting experience to join its high-performing development team. The ideal candidate should be able to configure and create jobs using Control-M project. Candidate should have experience in managing this product and all its activities. Other responsibilities: Ownership of creation and maintenance of jobs using BMC Control-M product. Job Configuration and Scripting. Document and Communicate best practices. Standardize Control-M process across all departments. Monitor existing jobs and Mentor other team members in this product.
