Thanks & have a good day! *Role: Sr. Apache Tomcat Consultant* *Location: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: 3-6 Months* *Scope of Work: * · Provide guidance and recommendations as it relates to standing up an Apache Tomcat DEV/TEST/PROD application server instance based on current architecture, requirements and interdependencies relative to the Customer’s environment. · Configure Apache Tomcat based on the current hardware environment and expected application workload for the intial deployment. · Assist in fine tuning of the Apache Tomcat application server environment for performance, scaling, reliability, and monitoring. Provide recommendations and assistance in developing a high availability strategy and configuration. · Assist in the setup and configuration of a distributed cache management system such as Memcached. · Provide a plan for remediation of any identified problems or areas of concern and assist where possible to implement the plan with the Customer prior to going into pre-production. · Provide knowledge transfer based on industry best practices as it relates to the Customer’s use case deployment of Tomcat. · Provide documentation on the best practices for implementation of a Tomcat application server environment. *APACHE TOMCAT and Memcached experience:* · Installation and configuration of the Apache Tomcat pre-production environment using Customer application and infrastructure. · Review and propose any recommended or corrective action to the environment based on the Customer’s specific use case prior to going into production. · Knowledge transfer and review of best practices relative to the Apache Tomcat server environment.
