Further, position will define hardware requirements and storage capacity planning for Development, Testing, QA, Staging, and Production for scalable database growth and performance. Proactively monitor the Production Database(s) and optimize SQL for better performance. Identify and resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues and other distributed data issues. Must be able to demonstrate initiative to identify issues, develop a solution and champion its implementation.
