*Creating new solutions for SP2010 (master pages, web parts, application
pages).*

*Sr SharePoint Developer & Migration Consultant*
This client has multiple custom applications that were built in SP 2007
that need to be migrated to SP 2010.
The selected candidate will need adept in analysis.  Someone that can come
in run gap analysis on these applications, define the challenges in running
the applications in SP 2007 versus SP 2010, and decide/recommend the
solutions for each application so they run properly in SP 2010.
To add to the complexity, this client uses SharePoint for their pubic
facing internet sites so there are still over 30 sites that need to be
migrated over all ranging in different levels of complexity.

*The ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas:*

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint technologies (SP 2010,
SP 2007, WSS3.0)
• 3+ years of experience with custom SharePoint Development (custom web
parts, branding) using SharePoint Object Model, SharePoint Designer and
Visual Studio are a big plus.
• 5+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET
*• Have advanced knowledge of custom Master Page development in SharePoint*
• Experience with .NET Framework 3.5 and higher
• Migration experience from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 and be very
familiar with different migration approaches.
• Strong understanding of what needs to be done to rebuild/deploy custom
built applications built in SharePoint 2007 and move them to SharePoint
2010 with Custom Web Parts that run using external data sources.
• Thorough knowledge of Web related technologies such as HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, Web Services, XML, AJAX, JQuery
• Experience and strong knowledge of Single Sign On.
• Be comfortable troubleshooting and revising existing solutions.
• Be very detail oriented.
• Be interested in working to revise code or re-develop code to meet best
practice standards.
• Silverlight is also a plus.

*The scope of work includes:*

• Assisting with analysis, design, and documentation in support of various
projects.
• Performing detailed gap analysis and creating detailed implementation plan
• Upgrading, packaging, and deploying solutions from SP2007 to SP2010.
Creating new solutions for SP2010 (master pages, web parts, application
pages).
