Job Title: SAP BWBI Location: New York, NY Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Description: The SAP Business Warehouse Support will provide the necessary support to maintain and improve the global SAP's Business Warehouse and Business Objects shared environment within IPG. Key Responsibilities - Support The SAP Business Warehouse Support will be responsible for application support, troubleshooting the BW system and implementing corrective actions based on the BW application SLA/OLA. Ensure overall system performance of BW and its key components are inline with benchmark standards. Among key components are: BWA, Nearline Storage. The role will Support the overall design and provide technical recommendation to the Business Warehouse project/development team in establishing corresponding data models, usage of front-end reporting tools, ETL tools, and technical infrastructure. Monitor and review BW technical design to ensure they are inline and support our current BI Strategies Manage all technical development for BW system which includes the Staging Area and Data Extraction Services Definition and maintenance of service level agreements (SLA’s), ensuring the SLA’s are achieved, that service quality and client expectations are met or exceeded as well as cost-effective. Data loads This person will have responsibility of the successful operation of the load process to ensure the overall performance of the system. The incumbent will do capacity planning and performance management for the BW system.
