Responsibilities include working with System Architects and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and solutions architecture. * * *REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:* * * *7+ Years application development experience with at least 1.5 to 2 years focused on database design and/or development activities* *REQUIRED SKILLS:* Experience in Oracle Database (8i, 9i, 10g or 11g) Good knowledge of both logical and physical database design/modeling Understanding of database administrative tasks Understanding of Stored Procedures, Packages, triggers, Views Experience in analyzing SQL plan Experience in data modeling tools such as Erwin Experience in optimizing application and SQL performance Ability to debug, troubleshoots, and solves complex PL/SQL issues Strong knowledge in command line SQL plus as well as one of the GUI development tool like SQL Developer, PL/SQL Developer, Toad, etc. Manage day-to-day database operations, monitor and maintain schema objects * * *PREFERRED SKILLS:* Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment Ability to quickly learn new concepts is necessary.
