Position : QA Tester *Location:* *Chicago IL/ Middletown NJ /NC* *Duration:6+Months * Rate : $ 26/hr on C2C all inc. *Job Description:* - This position requires testing from a customer perspective, both manually and with automated tools. - The Software QA Tester will also need to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests using scripting languages (shell/perl/python, etc.), compiled languages (Java/C++) and/or user-level test automation tools. - During the development cycle, the Software QA Engineer works closely with the Software Development Engineers, Product Management, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models, identify use cases, create test plans and test cases, and then execute tests. - Additionally, they will be responsible for identifying and creating test automation solutions as required. - The ideal candidate will have great knowledge of software QA best practices, including real world experience of a variety of different testing protocols, tools and metrics. - They will be expected to work with the development team in driving the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies. *The position requires:* - Minimum 5 years of QA and Testing experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent - Having been a part of a strong team - Excellent technical knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, processes and frameworks - Expertise with the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, test reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. - Experience designing, implementing and executing test cases and reporting metrics on quality. - Experience with functional, performance and stress testing for both web applications and back end services - Hands-on experience with scripting, Java and/or user-level test automation solutions -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
