Will be playing active role in production support of this platform and optimize the app to run on all tablet devices. * RESPONSIBILITIES* - Develop HTML5 app for tablets using a mix of technologies and techniques including *HTML5, CSS3, Advanced JavaScript including popular JS frameworks such as Angular.js, Backbone.js* - Build *JavaScript coed using MVC* to build functionality for tablet app. - Work with complex *REST-ful APIs* and Java engineers to provide full-stack application development and debugging - Keep up with new technologies and industry trends, experiment with new techniques, and recommend usage in our projects. - Help develop long-term policies, front-end architecture strategy, and best practices for CSS and JS. - Translate design comps and wireframes into flexible, usable experiences that render identically across browsers and tablets. - Create and maintain optimized image sprite or use CSS to replace image assets where applicable - Propose UI/UX functionality that will improve user interface, technical efficiency, operational workflow, and/or enhance the product experience - Solve problems and accomplish goals independently without constant guidance- expect to find issues and solutions on your own as a member of a larger team - Building optimized mobile tablet app using webkit technologies. Job Requirements: *REQUIREMENTS* - Minimum of *8 years of professional front-end web development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS) with mobile web applications*. - Strong working knowledge of current *web standards, CSS3, browser DOM, and JavaScript frameworks* - Deep understanding of *cross-browser issues* with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve bugs quickly - Comfortable with *version control software, multiple environments, and production support* - Ability to work independently within a highly collaborative team environment - Ability to complete assigned tasks and projects quickly and support production releases. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Experience with *JavaScript MVC.* *GOOD TO HAVE*: - Experience with backbone JS framework - Experience with mobile webkit technologies.
