*IMMEDIATE NEED - Jr. SAS Developer - Philadelphia, PA - 9-12+ Months Contract Role : Jr. SAS Developer Location : Philadelphia, PA Duration : 9-12+ Months Contract* *Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:* Conversion and validation of external data into SAS datasets Extraction of data from Oracle Clinical into SAS datasets Interacts with statisticians, data managers, and others to resolve data issues Design, coding, testing, and documentation of own programs for data conversion and reporting Execution and maintenance of validated programs in support of division activities Follow regulatory requirements and guidelines Provide support to the lead programmer on projects as required *Qualification:* Bachelor’s degree in a science field is required and a degree in statistics is preferred At least 2 years of full-time experience programming in SAS 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry Knowledge of SAS programming using Base SAS and the macro language to manipulate datasets and produce summaries and data listings Knowledge of base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH or ODS statistical graphics, and use of ODS for reporting High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and logical thinking skills Positive attitude, self-motivated and willing to learn Effective interpersonal skills in collaborating with teams composed of individuals with widely diverse backgrounds, skill levels, and organizational levels Ability to handle multiple competing projects and deadlines Ability to resolve programming issues independently or in conjunction with a Sr. Senior SAS programmer Technical writing skills adequate to prepare effective documentation for programs --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Thanks & Regards: Jimmy Cartor - Executive Search || ITBrainiac Inc.
