Job Title: Networking Systems Administration Location: Cleveland, OH Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire *EAD, GC, US Citizen Only!* Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 6 years prior IT experience focusing in Networking/Systems Administration Associates degree from an accredited school Must have reliable transportation Must be able to pass a BCI/FBI background check This is a contract to hire position (please include hourly rate expectation and salary expectations upon conversion) Preferred Certifications (but not required): Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) CCNA Wireless CCNA Voice Microsoft MCSE Linux+ RHCE LPI Required Skills: Performs complex network management, design, and integration.? Knowledgeable and comfortable with multiple makes and brands of network/server hardware and operating systems. Plans, forecasts, implements, and identifies resource and bandwidth requirements for network devices and connections. Participates in design reviews of IT systems. Conducts quality assurance reviews of IT systems installations performed by junior technicians. Provides technical expertise on projects for voice, video, data systems, and converged networks. Identifies, evaluates, and assists management in the selection of hardware, software, and services to meet specifications and requirements. Monitors and supports multiple levels of infrastructures, including local and wide area networks. Maintains LAN, WLAN, and WAN installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance. Consults on scope and specification requirements for bids and contracts. Occasionally conducts site surveys and on-site assessments and prepares schematic diagrams for recommended and efficient installations.? Develops and maintains network documentation. Monitors protocol compatibility, performs system tuning, and makes recommendations for improvement. Assists in developing architectures and planning for enterprise-wide tactical and strategic requirements, systems definition, and feasibility determination within a complex system environment.
