Send me profiles : ar...@vedicsoft.com *Role : Oracle 11gAS Forms Engineer * *Location: Orlando, FL* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Description : * *Position Scope * · The *Oracle 11gAS Forms Engineer* is responsible for *problem definition, functional design, testing, technical and end-user documentation and training, and implementation and post-implementation phases of one or two large in-house software development or software package implementation projects.* Manages production migration process for applications and systems undergoing upgrades or fixes to ensure that disruption to clients is minimized. · In-depth business system analysis, especially with large-scale, complex in-house application development or software package implementations. · Willingness to learn SQR language to support Hyperion Production Reporting. *Responsibilities and Duties* · Define problems/opportunities, conduct impact analyses for in-house software development or packaged software implementation and upgrades or fixes. Present findings and business cases to appropriate management for approval before proceeding. · For approved projects, functional designs for in-house software development or package implementation, upgrades, or fixes. Ensure use of standardized data element names and definitions, establishment of quality expectations, use of specific business rules and relationships, and determination of the sources of data. Ensure adherence to specific security rules and policies. · Ensure development of test plans and post-implementation reviews are defined and completed. · Ensure adherence of applications to formal processes, standards, and total quality practices in all activities. Collaborate with Applications and Systems Software Engineers and PMO in meeting their responsibilities with regard to project management, evaluation of current applications, and implementation of future *Education* · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. The minimum level of experience is at least ten years working within the IT discipline, and at least five years experience of in-depth business system analysis, especially with large-scale, complex in-house application development or software package implementations. *General Experience* *· General Experience Five (5) years administering Oracle products integrated with various web technologies.* Applicant must demonstrate knowledge and effective administration of scalable enterprise hosting environments capable of supporting complex, multi-functional organizational structures that support hundreds of users. Must demonstrate progressive, hands-on technical and administrative *support experience within a large scale Enterprise Hosting Environment built on Oracle 10G/11G stack technology.* *Special Experience * · *Demonstrated high-level competence in Oracle Middle Tier technologies: Oracle Application Server (OAS) and all associated subset functionalities within those Technology Stacks (Oracle Internet Directory and Oracle Enterprise Manager).* · Demonstrated high level competence in root cause analysis and proactive application administration. · Demonstrated working knowledge of advanced technology features including middle tier clustering, web caching, OID/single sign-on, J2EE application integration, enterprise portal, SSL, Internet File Service, Collaboration Services, JDeveloper integration, Discoverer and multiple instance management. · *Hands on familiarity with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.* · Ability to work effectively with team/others and share knowledge to ensure team success. · Ability to work through SR’s with Oracle Corporation technical support.
