*Java Developer* *Work Location:* Warren, NJ *Contract Length:* 5-6 Months *Rate: $48/hr on C2C*
*Description:* - Designs and codes from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex multi-threaded, distributed and highly available software applications - 4 or more years of experience using Java, J2EE, XML, HTTP, SQL and Shell Scripting in a UNIX environment. - Experience with caching solutions such as IBM eXtremeScale a plus. - Under general direction, designs and implements application enhancements with due consideration to application performance, system capacity and other limitations, desired results and SLAs/SLOs - Familiar with SDLC and competent to work at the highest technical level in all phases of the lifecycle - Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures, and provides Tier 2 technical support - Provides high level written communications such as white papers, decision documents, or research papers - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short turn-around times for completion of assignments - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Good oral and written communication skills - Good time management skills and - B.S. Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent required. Masters in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent preferred.
