This buyer participates in various vital purchasing functions including preparing bid documents, evaluating bid responses, negotiation pricing/terms and conditions, making recommendations for award of contract, drafting contract documents and documenting contract change notices. Skills Required Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to edit or concisely draft bid documents including bid evaluation summaries and Statements of Work. Must submit a writing sample (not more than two pages in length).
