*We are acquiring talent for a direct client we have had very good success
with. I have just placed a candidate on this project and now they are
looking for someone more senior at the lead level.*

*This candidate needs to be Senior level (which is not a 7 year person) a
Java/Spring expert, someone with amazing communication skills, and can
complete a coding test for the client.*

*Location*: Cupertino, CA

*Duration*: 12 Months

*Senior/Lead Software Engineer*

*Position Overview*:

This is a critical role and suitable for very senior and skilled engineers
who will work extensively with the Enterprise Application Architect on
building key pieces of a new web application and services platform.

Designer and Developer of Foundational frameworks and services.
Foundational refers to core code upon which applications will be built.
This includes how we will use Spring, configuration, logging, environmental
awareness, application startup and shutdown processing, etc. This will also
include helping deploy a RESTful framework and integrating this framework
with an internal access control subsystem.

*Required Skills:*

· Java: 5+ years

· Web app back-end development experience: 5 years

· Extensive experience with Spring

· JMX experience

· Several years working with Tomcat (admin and coding)

· Thorough understanding of Java Servlets

· Extensive experience with Linux, including basic administration

· Comprehensive knowledge of REST and Java RESTful frameworks

· Decent SQL and RDBMS development skills - need not be an SQL wizard
