Title : Business Analyst for SAP Payroll
Duration:    9 months with possibility of extension
Location: Houston, TX (Downtown)

Mandatory Skills/ Experience:
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on projects involving
implementation of SAP Payroll for a manufacturing company that has plants
in different parts of the U.S. and Union employees in the following
specific areas:
o Working with Business users (business  managers, HR reps, time keepers,
etc.) to gather/define/document functional requirements for processing
payroll in SAP
o Leveraging knowledge of Schemas, Wage Types, Garnishment, and Tax
Reporting to analyze requirements and make recommendations for improvement
of payroll processes where appropriate
o Working with union requirements, absence and leave management
o Conducting user acceptance testing by creating scenarios for test cases &
executing test cases
o Helping to prepare training materials and conduct user training
• Excellent spoken and written English is imperative
• Solid understanding of how SAP Payroll and SAP Personnel Administration
(PA) work together

Job Responsibilities:
This SAP Business Analyst will work for the HR department on the business
side during the SAP Payroll implementation, which includes rolling out to
64 power plants in different parts of the U.S. This person will NOT be
doing configuration, but rather defining functional requirements, working
as a liaison between IT and the business users, and conducting user
acceptance testing.

• Chair Blueprinting sessions, gather and document functional business
requirements
• Travel to the plant locations in different parts of the U.S. to meet with
users (plant managers/ HR representatives/ payroll processors) to gather
their business requirements through in-person meetings/interviews
• As you analyze users' business requirements, proactively collaborate with
them to recommend improvements for how to optimize payroll related
processes
• Act as liaison between IT and the business users – (IT will not
communicate directly with the business users)
• Lead user acceptance testing by creating test plans, test cases, and
executing test cases
• After testing validate that business output results are correct; If not
correct, work with IT to make sure they determine cause and fix issues
• Provide post-implementation support to business users as needed
• Help prepare training materials and conduct user training
