Eagan, MN Sr Systems Engineer - Linux Contract Length or Perm: at least 12 months - 6 month contract roll overs Interview process: phone *Required:* - 4+ Years of experience in administration with 2 of the following: AIX, Solaris, Red Hat Linux, or HPUX. - Experience with a high availability products: Service Guard, VCS, or RHEL clustering also required. - Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work individually as well as part of a team. This position has significant customer service. The Unix Server Platform team provides day-to-day support for Delta's Unix server infrastructure. Responsibilities includes administration of AIX, Solaris, Linux and HPUX operating environments. This position will participate in a 24 hour pager rotation that is 1 week on primary coverage followed by a week of secondary with 6-8 weeks off pager between rotations.
