This group does not work very frequently with physical servers, so most emphasis will be placed on administrative responsibilities including tuning, taking part in deployments, and creating disaster recovery plans. The DBA’s in this group work hand in hand with development groups, so candidates can expect a high level of exposure to development concepts and strategies.
