Position: Java Developer Location: San Diego We are looking for a strong lead programmer. And by lead, I mean someone who can build applications independently without assistance from others, but who is knowledgeable enough about Java programming , database programming, and ORM to be able to explain it to junior programmers in a way they can understand. Keep in mind the most common reason programmers fail in our environment (4 so far in the past 3 years) is that they need to be able to see the business picture as well as being strong programmers in ALL of the following areas: 1) Web Application development in Java a) Ability to independently develop from scratch secure business applications in Java, which means if they don't have a business background they need to be smart people in general. b) Ability to quickly generate mockups c) Ability to build interfaces using a framework, such as Spring, with annotations and conversation d) Ability to control sessions at the request, session, application and conversation levels, etc. e) Ability to build a workflow (routing back-and-forth among people while maintaining status of the object) from scratch f) Ability Import table data into and out of Excel files with correct formatting (i.e. numbers, text fields, formulas) g) Ability use and IDE such as Eclipse, debugger, and solve problems 2) Database skills - ability to build all of the following from scratch or have solid basic SQL experience and be highly motivated to learn advanced MySQL SQL on their own. a) Ability to build databases schema including tables, indexes, keys and constraints b) ER Diagrams and schema c) Use a database IDE (Toad or Aqua Data Studio) efficiently and effectively d) Able to create views, stored procedures, develop efficient queries, and implement keys and indexes e) Knowledgeable about table locking and when to use it 3) ORM - ability to work with hibernate and library manager such as maven 4) Smart person who is self-motivated, genuinely interested in programming 5) Competent at using both Windows and Linux operating systems. 6) Above average ability to communicate in English effectively and knowledgeable enough to provide coding instructions to other programmers. *Regards,* *Satish* Email: sat...@gensoftwareinc.com | www.gensoftwareinc.com Direct: 214-396-1872| 9811 Valley Ranch Pkwy W, #1172, Irving, TX 75063. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
