Securitized Products Analytics supports MBS/ABS/CMBS product databases that source, load, transform and serve the data. The data is consumed by our flagship product BondStudio, a calculator that allows scenario analysis on variety of securities. The data group interfaces with calculator development for their data needs as well as with MBS Research for their analysis needs. Job provides opportunity to learn about MBS products and a chance to interface with Research analysts. The job involves production support as well as development and testing. * Develop enterprise data warehouse components, ETL using Stored Procedures, functions, views, and/or ETL Tools, and miscellaneous operational databases required for BI applications * Develop and maintain corporate metadata repository * Design, develop and deploy back-end systems to support operational and analytical reporting * Assist BI development team in the design of database solutions. * Create and maintain documentation of processes, reports, applications, and procedures as per department policy * Derive a testing strategy for ongoing ETL projects and execute on it * Maintain Database batch processing jobs and respond to critical production issues * Perform other duties as assigned Desired Skills and Experience * Strong Knowledge of Relational database design * Strong SQL Development skills including SQL performance tuning * Experience in Sybase/Oracle databases * Ability to use Linux * Programming experience (e.g. Perl, Python, Shell Scripting) Qualifications: * Undergraduate degree minimum, preferably programming related.
