Project/Role: Clear English communication skills are extremely important as you will be interfacing with Management, Architects, Business Analysts, Business Users, Project Managers, Developers and Administrators. You will: • Provide application development and enhancement functions, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployments of web-enabled Business Intelligence dashboards. • Provide production support, occasionally after normal work hours. • With limited supervision, work with business analysts and technical architects to formalize specifications for custom development. • Keep supervisor or team lead informed of significant cross-team, cross-functional issues and/or significant technical challenges as appropriate. Proactively work to solve these issues while including the key functional and/or business stakeholders. Skills Required . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Skills Required: • Solid UI design experience, including creating wireframes and mockups from business requirements. • Must have strong UI development expertise including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, ODATA and OAUTH providing responsive web interfaces with clean and intuitive user experience. • Must have experience with one or more JavaScript libraries including *JQuery*, *Bootstrap*, *AngularJS*, *Backbone*, Breeze, Handlebars, Sencha ExtJS, etc. • Experience with service development and architectures that favor reuse. • Experience building, *testing* and orchestrating WCF services. • Experience with ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> Web API RESTful services. • Solid experience developing enterprise-class applications with .NET 4.x using C#. • Experience with *ORM librarie*s such as Entity Framework or NHibernate. • Experience with source control repositories such as *TFS* or Git. • Experience interacting with database systems such as SQL Server or Oracle. • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms such as SSRS, Business Objects, etc. • Oil and gas industry experience a plus. • Ability to work as a team player. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Works well under pressure, remaining focused and calm in the face of distractions and changing priorities. Ability to prioritize workload. • Must have excellent technical writing skills to develop functional and technical specifications. • Must be able to code application components to specifications using Devon’s applicable technology standards.
