Title: EMC Storage Administrator posted on 2014-05-07 20:30:07 Job Description:*Requirement for Storage administrator* EMC -SAN * 5 years of experience in provisioning storage on EMC arrays such as CX and VNX using Unisphere and NavisecCLI. * 5 years of experience managing traditional and thin LUNs, Raid Groups, and storage pools. * 5 Years of experience managing fibre channel (FC) and iSCSI host connectivity. * 5 years of experience with replication tools such as MirrorView, SAN Copy and SnapView. * Should have knowledge/experience managing a RecoverPoint array. * Must have experience with Flare upgrades and applying patches. * Should have a strong background in Disaster recovery testing and have participated in at least 3 DR tests. * EMC certified candidates are highly preferable. EMC-NAS * 2 years of experience in managing a unified VNX array (NAS), in creating, file systems, CIFS Shares, NFS exports, and related activities using Unisphere manager. * 2 years of experience managing replication and deduplication using Unisphere manager. SAN Fabrics * 3+ years of experience managing a SAN Fabric with Brocade Connectrix 48K Director class SAN switches to include zoning, troubleshooting, and upgrading, using Connectrix Manager, Webtool, and CLI. * 3+ Years managing a SAN fabric with CISCO Fabric Manager. HP LeftHand- IPSAN * 1+ year of experience / knowledge with HP LeftHand IPSAN solutions in managing Management Groups, Clusters, and storage nodes using HP LeftHand CMC (working experience is preferable). * 1+ year of experience in provisioning local volumes, remote volumes, and manual/ scheduled snapshots using CMC. * Should have very good knowledge of the Fail over manager (working experience is preferable). Dell-Equallogic (Desired) * 1+ year managing an EqualLogic array to include provisioning storage, replication, diagnostics, and reporting. System Troubleshooting and Reporting * 2 years of experience with reporting tools such as EMC Monitor and Reporting and HP CMC to include performance reporting, system analysis, and utilization. * Must have strong troubleshooting and system analysis skills. * Must have strong writing and proven documentation skills. * Should have good communication skills and be a team player.
