Title: Microsoft Lync Engineer -L3 posted on 2014-05-12 14:03:09 Job Description:*Job Title: Microsoft Lync Engineer -L3 * *Location: Jersey City, NJ// Chicago,IL // Stamford, CT* *Duration : 6+ months* *Microsoft Lync Engineer* This resource is required to deliver the Lync UC Risk remediation program. There is significant engineering required to deliver the various components, that resource is not available within the team currently. If not hired, the Lync UC risk remediation program will not fully deliver in 2014. Justification behind the desired locations is that the position is for an SME to work within an existing engineering team. In order to be quickly productive and then sustain a high level of productivity, close alignment with the existing team is imperative. Working within a team of engineers focused on the delivery of Unified Communications and Collaboration and associated services (on a core Microsoft Lync & Lync Group Chat platform), the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of design, engineering and ongoing development and sustaining of the services. Associated services include legacy Group Chat and IM, Regulatory archiving and Voice recording. *The main responsibilities will be:* • Design, test and certify service solutions within the Unified communications space. • Evaluate and recommend technical solutions based on requirements, ranging from group to enterprise wide deployments. • Engage in tier 3 troubleshooting on issues identified with deployed services, providing resolution and remediation. • Provide training and mentoring on technologies to peers and colleagues. *Specific skills require training with: * • Primary modality configuration and engineering (IM/Presence, A/V, Enterprise Voice) • Persistent group chat services • Edge service deployment, including federation with corporate and IM entities • Monitoring and management (including capacity management) processes • Network management • Policy and client configuration • Compliance services (e.g. Actiance Vantage or Microsoft Archiving service) for Lync. • Design and engineering of other real time collaboration tools (XMPP, IRC, MindAlign, Consumer or Enterprise IM). • Voice recording approaches and technologies *Click here to view full job description and apply <http://www.ejobsville.com/display-job/167599> (Registration not mandatory to apply for this job)* ------------------------------ Best regards, eJobsVille.com - For The Best Tech Jobs In Town -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
