*Job Description:*



Ideal Candidates will have Experience moving existing desktop applications
to web applications. Must work out of the Richmond, VA location. Looking
for developers who like working in a collaborative environment. Must be
able to start not later than July 1st, 2014!

*Responsibility Level:*

Under general supervision, evaluates, selects, and applies standard
engineering and technology principles and techniques to assigned business
problems. The candidate will work independently on projects that have
moderate to high impact on the business. The candidate ensures that results
meet established needs, goals and timelines.



*Principal Duties:*

The qualified candidate for this position will work within a team of
developers on software that includes various products. The candidate will
be responsible for additional applications and utilities required to
support this suite of software. Specific duties include:

1.       Designs, develops, documents, and implements software solutions in
accordance with project specifications, ensuring completion within the
planned time constraint and meeting the established objectives for quality,
reliability and performance. Uses judgment in suggesting adaptations or
modifications where appropriate.

2.       Analyzes the impact and feasibility of change requests on existing
software and implements corrective actions.

3.       Provides both technical and administrative documentation in a
timely manner for developed software and design models.

4.       Provides technical input, feedback, and consultation to other
internal organizations involved in system design or implementation
activities. Participate in technology transfer initiatives between IT
departments, R&D, and Product Engineering.

5.       Directs less experienced software developers in investigation,
analysis, and data gathering. Provides instruction and recommendations in
the application of sound practices in software development. Reviews coding
projects.



*Requirements:*

1.       Bachelor Degree in Computer Science; or a Bachelor Degree in
Engineering, Science, or Mathematics discipline with strong Computer
Science skills.

2.       5 years software development experience in ASP.NET, C#, HTML, and
JavaScript.

3.       Experience in relational database management systems and SQL
required.

4.       Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and MS Office
Suite programs.

5.       Ability to manipulate large data collections in both databases and
spreadsheets.

6.       Ability to understand technical material.

7.       Ability to assimilate and implement new and emerging technologies.
