Data Analyst in TX for 6+ months Contract !! Two years experience as a data analyst using a formal software development lifecycle. Proficient in cross-platform data mining Ability to Interface with SQL server specifically using Access data projects Ability to perform Data Analysis and manipulation of large files in Windows and UNIX environments Experience using Microsoft SQL Database experience, Data Modeling Tools, Data Mining tools, J2EE and SOA expertise UML experience, (Use Cases and Activity Diagrams). Possess a solid working knowledge of XML, XMLNS, XML Schemas and DTDs, XSL, XSLT, XPath, Web Services Ablity to model from conceptual/logical to physical/ data base design - preferably DB2 and SQL Server Expert use of Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. Possess strong understanding of customer data, hierarchy and dataflow between systems
