*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * Job Title: Websphere Admin Location: Harrisburg, PA Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Participate in the creation and modification of standards and best practices concerning the WebSphere application servers and IHS(IBM HTTP server) Provide technical advice and assistance to users concerning WebSphere application servers Perform daily administration support tasks Monitor WebSphere environments concerning capacity planning Evaluate current WebSphere software parameters and recommend tuning efforts Participate in testing and validation of new releases or maintenance upgrades to the WebSphere Generate scripts in order to automate tasks or provide batch capabilities for the WebSphere software products Participate in providing training efforts in order to educate users of new functions and capabilities of the WebSphere Application Server products Strong problem solving, analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills needed to assist users Strong writing skills useful when modifying or creating new training manuals for application developers and users of Websphere software products Resolve recurring problems and develop written standards to prevent any future reoccurrence Provide technical expertise and written procedures to support staff Websphere Administration Required 7 Years Recent experience with Websphere running on Windows platform Required 4 Years IHS(IBM HTTP server) running on windows platform Required 5 Years Evaluating Websphere software parameters Required 5 Years Websphere software tuning Required 5 Years Experience working in a Server Farm / Data Center Environment.
