Job Description:*Enterprise Architect/ Tool Administrator *
*Madison, WI*
*12+ months*
*5-7 years of experience*

Madison College is going through a major ERP implementation effort,
re-engineering and strategic planning effort within Information Technology
(as well as the rest of the college).  New processes and tools are being
introduced to the organization.

Madison College intends to use Sparx/Enterprise Architect for: (1) mapping
business processes, (2) cataloging data objects, (3) cataloging
infrastructure components, (4) cataloging integrations between systems,
etc. on a repository managed CASE (Computer-Aided Systems Engineering)
environment.


*This assignment minimally requires:*
1.      An in-depth ability and knowledge of *Enterprise Architecture*.
2.      An in-depth ability and knowledge of *Computer-Aided Systems
Engineering (CASE) tools*.
3.      An in-depth ability and knowledge of *(1) process modeling, (2)
data modeling, (3) infrastructure cataloging/modeling*.
4.      Willing to commit to the project timeline of about *10-12 months*.
5.      Preference is for skills in implementing *Sparx/Enterprise
Architect*.

*Basic Qualifications*
6.      Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecting Tool, preferably,
Sparx/Enterprise Architect (EA).
7.      Strong Architectural knowledge of Processes, Data and
Infrastructure.
8.      Strong Administration knowledge of Enterprise Architecting Tool.
9.      Strong Program development knowledge (i.e., developing EA as a
Service)
10.  Strong Application/Solution Governance development knowledge.
11.  Strong Leadership abilities.
12.  Strong Project Management abilities.
13.  Strong Business Analysis abilities.
14.  Data, application and integration technical skills.
15.  Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential.
16.  Well-developed skills with Visio, MS-Project, Excel, PowerPoint and
Word.
17.  Experienced working in a deadline-driven environment, handling and
prioritizing multiple tasks.
18.  Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery.
19.  Excellent conceptual, problem solving, and analytical skills.
20.  Ability to work independently or as a member of a team on complex
tasks.
21.  Demonstrated competency in documenting solutions for both technical
and functional audiences.


*Duties and Responsibilities*
·         Design and develop/implement the Sparx/Enterprise Architect
environment/structure.
·         Develop standard operating procedures and governance for
Sparx/Enterprise Architect as a service.
·         Assess needs of customers for solutions.
·         Work independently and with internal staff to assist them, guide
them and mentor them to develop requirements and build solutions – as much
out of the box as possible.
·         Follow through with users to ensure consistent solutions and
continuous improvement.
·         Provide support to end-users, as needed.
·         Communicate on status to management and teams.

*Education and Qualifications*
·         4 – 7 years of skills as a Project Manager/Change Manager.
·         3 – 5 years of skills as a data, application and/or integration
architect.
·         3 – 5 years of skills as a CASE tool administrator, tools such as:
o   Sparx/Enterprise Architect
o   SAP/Sybase/PowerDesigner
o   Embarcadero/ER Studio
o   IBM/Rational Suite
o   Etc.
·         2+ years analytical problem solving, business analyst experience.
