*Job Description*

Along with the general requirements, we are looking primarily for a
Salesforce.Com technical analyst:



*Salesforce.Com Technical Analyst*

The Technical Analyst will be responsible for performing all tasks required
to develop and support the Salesforce.Com application at Verizon. These
tasks include but are not limited to: migration and merging of a number of
Salesforce.com applications into a single Salesforce.com instance,
attending requirements gathering sessions, developing design documents,
developing and supporting APEX coding, testing, and supporting the system.



Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree (preferred Computer Science)

·         4-5 years of experience functioning as a senior Salesforce.com
administrator/developer for Enterprise edition or higher (preferably at mid
to large, multi-dimensional organization)

·         Salesforce.com Certification is strongly preferred

·         Detailed knowledge of Salesforce.com architecture

·         Experience writing SOQL and SOSL queries

·         Deep understanding of APEX Classes, Triggers, Workflows,
Validations, and Visual Force pages

·         Detailed knowledge of Security, Sharing, Profiles, and Roles

·         Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications and
presentation skills

·         Precise attention to detail

·         Team player with a selfless attitude



Designs and codes from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs,
documents, and implements moderately complex software applications

Under general direction, devises or modifies procedures to solve complex
problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating
time, and form of desired results

Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of
applications programming activities

Monitor program execution for expected performance

Modifies, installs, and prepares technical documentation for system
software applications

Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster
recovery procedures, and provides Tier 2 technical support.

May customize purchased applications, and assists in maintaining program
libraries and technical manuals

Provides high level written communications such as white papers, decision
documents, or research papers

Identify, escalate and document production impact issues for the
environment to confirmed delivery for client and business notification

Experience using Java, J2EE, XML, SQL and Shell Scripting in a UNIX
environment

Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills
