ETL QA Analyst Jacksonville,FL This team works with large amounts of enrollment data from our largest clients. There is minimal to no front end GUI testing, 95-100% back end data processing. The QA is expected to take ownership of the test suite and build an aggregate regression test plan that can be repeatable. The candidate must have the following experience and attributes: Create test plans and test scripts Execute test scripts manually Estimation of QA Create repetitive manual regression test scripts that could easily converted for automation scripting Test driven development Batch data testing. Simulating data changes over time(i.e. each file represents a days worth of changes from the source system and those changes build upon changes from previous files) Ability to quickly analyze test results using SQL, Excel, Access and/or other methods Critical thinking Methodical/Logical approach to building a repeatable Test suite Know how to prioritize testing based on risk exposure Strong partnering skills with developers, analysts and PMs o Communicate frequently within the team o Ask questions to get clarification and identify gaps in the analysis Willing to accept that there are existing issues (known and unknown) within the system and that they cant all be fixed at once o Able to understand and identify the frequency/impact of tests that fail to help with the bug fix prioritization Develop test strategies that balance testing needs against budget and deliverable deadline/commitment Sense of urgency to help move the team forward.
