*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * Job Title: .Net Developer w/RIA services Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 4 months+ Direct Client Position SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: DEVELOP INTERFACES WITH EXISTING C# .NET 4 APPLICATIONS, UTILIZING WEB SERVICES AND SQL SERVER 2008 R2 TO IMPLEMENT CHANGES AND UPDATES TO THE EXISTING SYSTEM. THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL WORK IN AN EXISTING SILVER LIGHT 4 APPLICATION THAT UTILIZES TELERIK CONTROLS. General Characteristics • Integrally involved in the development and support of all Internet/Intranet/Extranet sites and supporting systems. • Works closely with other IT groups and customers to define the system design and user interface based on customer needs and objectives. • Participates in all phases of the development and implementation process, and may act as a project manager on special projects. • Ensures the integration of the web servers and all other supporting systems by using message based middleware and interfacing with relational databases. • Be knowledgeable of best-practices for building secure web applications. • Responsible for developing client-side scripting and server-side application code. • Extensive knowledge in using programming languages such as Visual Basic, HTML, XML, Java, and ASP. REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): 6+ years of C# experience 2+ Years Silverlight 4 (or above) 2+ years RIA services 2+ experience with XAML 2+ .NET framework experience 2+ years Unity frame work experience 3+ years Entity Framework experience Able to develop and interpret business requirements, develop technical specs, write code and develop test processes to meet requirements.
