Position: Business System Analyst
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities:
I. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and
internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
II. Obtain requirements through discovery, document analysis,
business process descriptions and use cases. Research scenarios, tasks and
workflow. III. Push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of
existing industry practices and client mindsets by asking thought provoking
and clarifying questions. IV. Evaluate and reconcile information
gathered from multiple sources; distinguish user requests from true
underlying needs. Create quality requirements documentation. V.
Understand the necessity of project standards and apply them consistently.
Promote best practice application. VI. Act as the liaison between
the business units and technology teams.VII. Define test
conditions. Develop accurate and complete test plans.VIII. Prepare
professional business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically
correct, effective and engaging. IX. Collaborate with developers and
subject matter experts to establish the technical vision of client; analyze
tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. X. Initiate,
develop and maintain effective working relationship with team members.
XI.
Prioritize tasks effectively. Manage multiple internal and external
projectsXII. Proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen
knowledge base and proficiencies.
*Key Result Areas*:
The Business Analyst collaborates with clients to create innovative
solutions that meet actual business needs.
The Analyst is the primary point of contact for the client for business
process and workflow solutions.
This position is responsible for facilitation of discovery, gathering
requirements and preparing accurate business specifications and
documentation. As the workstation expert, the Business Analyst works
directly with the Product Management team to develop and deliver best
practices and ensure compliance with Equator standards of practice.
Qualifications & Experience:
I. 2-3 years of Business or Systems Analyst experience
II. Experience in gathering business requirements III.
Skilled in managing small to medium-size projects IV. Proficient in
mapping of business processes V. Analytical and organized VI.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
