*Sr developer and ArchitectRemote Long term contract.* *I am still looking for Sr developer and architect with the ability to deliver distributed application in the cloud.* *This developer should have managed or delivered “Metrics and Reports as part of his application”* *Good Presentation skills* *Requirements* Web2.0 or Mobile UX development experience using javascript, html5, node.js,twitter bootstrap Strong hands-on development skills, ideally in Java – including programming, testing, profiling, and operational deployment experience Ability to design, model, implement, and test high performance software for mission critical applications Understanding of distributed computing concepts and networking principles Experience developing Web Reports Data Mining Technologies. Prior experience with Hadoop, both from a usage perspective (M/R, Pig, Hive, Hbase) and a system configuration and setup perspective. Familiar with popular distributions (Cloudera, HortonWorks, MapR) Prior working experience with MPP Database technologies (Greenplum Database, Netezza, Teradata, Paraccel, or Asterdata, Cassandra etc.) Prior working knowledge of Java frameworks and libraries (Spring, Hibernate, JEE, JDBC, JMS, JMX, etc.) Prior working knowledge of in-memory data grids (GemFire, Coherence, Terracotta, Gigaspaces, etc) Knowledgeable and conversant in the pros and cons of PaaS, SaaS, IaaS and how they differ from more traditional enterprise deployments. Familiar with Cloud Foundry or Heroku. Systems Thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking) Cross Business Unit Expertise – familiar with or able to learn the different industrial business units within high-level customer. Interpersonal and leadership skills - collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills Communication skills, both written and spoken. A top notch technical presenter.
