The DTMB Administrative Systems Section (ADMNSS) , along with it MDOT business partners, is responsible to provide software maintenance and operations support for the portfolio. Additionally, ADMNSS provides resources for new and on-going development efforts in support of MDOT’s Call for Projects. This new resource will us in supporting the Call and annual maintenance requirements. The new resource will provide technical support to ADMNSS and knowledge transfer to new state junior resources to raise their level of expertise in .net and java development environments. One (1) Programmer – Analyst Senior (J2EE/Java/Spring Senior Developer) Programmer- Analyst capabilities with 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, may report directly to a project lead or manager, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Resource needs good working experience with spring based java application framework to build and maintain the J2EE/Java/Spring based forms, controllers and business components debugging and changing code. The resource to also have the database handling using hibernate and or JDBC object handling (creating and modifying) and making appropriate call as needed by the business process. Skills Preferred: Documented 5 years (in experiential section of resume, not “summary area” experience programming in the Spring Framework Documented 5 years (in experiential section of resume, not “summary area” experience programming in the Hibernate ORM Framework Documented 3 years (in experiential section of resume, not “summary area” experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment including JBOSS Workflow and Drools Business Rules engine.
