Job Tittle : BI Developer. Location: New York,NY. Duration : 5-12 Months Contract. Rate :DOE. *Primary Responsibilities :* Need someone strong both in Oracle and SQL. Design, develop and maintain BI and Data Warehouse based solutions Work with business customers in gathering and documenting requirements Work individually or as part of a team Ensure quality of work at all times *Required Skills/Experience :* 6 plus years of experience in developing IT applications. 3 or more years of experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (2005 and above), SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services. Experience working with BIDS and knowledge of performance tuning of SSAS cubes. 4 plus years of experience with relational database management systems - preferably SQL Server or Oracle. Very Strong Data Modeling Skills. Knowledge of MDX statements and functions to create complex calculations. Good communication skills (oral and written). 2 or more years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements. Prior experience in architecting applications, user interface design and detailed system design. Knowledge of administration procedures and processes associated with SQL Server Analysis Services. *Desired Skills/Experience: * Media Industry experience (highly desirable).
