Rate: DOE. *Job description: * Application Server Administrator Support the installation and maintenance of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server in a zSeries environment. Support the installation, customization, performance and diagnostics of Windows and Linux based middleware products. Work with members of Change Control team to develop promotion processes to components deployed on servers. Support deployment of Rational Lifecycle and development tools on Windows desktops and servers. Work with customers Windows server group to maintain integrity of windows serving environment. *Required skills: * Windows server administration (4+ years) Linux server administration (2+ years) Strong IP Networking skills (4+ years) Strong verbal communication and experience in consulting with senior business SMEs to elicit requirements Strong written, presentation and interpersonal skills. *Nice to have skills:* Websphere Application Server installation and configuration.
