*Location: (Indianapolis), Indiana* *Duration: 3+ Years* Software Engineer (.NET) Job Description/Responsibilities: · 5-6 years of .NET experience · Working on interfaces and (2nd phase ) data migration · ServiceStack a plus · Entity Framework a plus · BizTalk a plus · nLog a plus · AutoMapper a plus · Must be on site a plus The Software Engineer is a member of the iService team responsible for working with the team to create, enhance, and support the iService product offering (hand held devices) and other aspects of the functionality of the product as needed. Responsibilities include: · Developing modular functionality of the product and associated interfaces and services. · Assist in the functional design deliverables, create technical design deliverables, develop solutions, testing, migration, and support of production. · Design and code superior technical solutions. Enforce and adhere to development standards. · Work within a project team environment providing input to the project plan, schedule, tasks, estimates, and issues. · Create and update documentation as necessary. · Providing support, maintaining existing code, debugging, and developing enhancements to the eServices product. · Handling support requests that are identified through the support processes, managing their priority, and performing the necessary remediation to resolve the issue. Proactively identify and correct application and system performance problems. · Develop enhancements to the product as requested without detailed direction. Understand and determine the scope and requirements of the enhancements, assist in the creation of functional design deliverables, create technical design deliverables for the requested functionality, and develop, test, and implement the solution. · Create and update documentation as necessary. *Skills/Abilities: * · Web development utilizing .NET 3.5 framework (ASP.NET, VB.NET). · Understands complex database and has working knowledge of relational databases. · Working experience with Biztalk and Web Services would be a plus · Knowledge of client server and internet systems architecture.
