please find the below requirement with our client and share consultant resume to [email protected]* * *Job Title:* ETL position – Full time *Location:* Dallas, TX., US *Job Description:* * *Client has an immediate full-time, contractor opening for a Senior ETL Developer to analyze, configure, maintain, and build existing and to-be-developed ETL processes for an existing data warehouse and daily data file exchanges with clients. Responsibilities include: - Design SSIS jobs and create reusable components to support the data exchange with our clients - Conduct performance analysis and optimize SSIS jobs, custom SQL and T-SQL jobs - Provide production support for the existing data warehouse - Work with the data analyst team to understand the business requirements and in the validation of data that supports reporting - Develop scripts for data file processing and process integration tasks - Maintain and further develop our cube for ongoing data modeling and analytics needs *Skills and Requirements:* 4+ years’ experience implementing ETL for Data Warehouse and Business intelligence solutions 8+ years’ experience in RDBMS design and development, and performance tuning 3+ years’ experience with SSIS, 5+ years with DTS and T-SQL/ stored procedures required 4+ years’ experience with scheduling ETL jobs using SQL Agent, and external scheduling tools 3+ years’ experience with SSAS, MDX and Power Pivot Expert experience with MS SQL Server 2008 R2 database technologies Ability to read and write effective, modular, dynamic (parameterized) and robust code, establish and follow already established code standards, and ETL framework Experience using Business Intelligence Development Studio to build SSIS packages Excellent troubleshooting and optimization skills: interpreting ETL logs, performing data validation, dissecting SSIS code, experience with change data capture, using expressions, scoping of variables, commonly used transforms, event handlers and logging providers, ability to understand and optimize the surrogate key generation and inconsistent data type handling Solid understanding of fuzzy grouping, fuzzy lookup transforms, import and export column transforms Experience in performance tuning of the SSIS packages, deploying and administering SSIS packages, proficient in utilizing scripting in SSIS, and replacing ActiveX script tasks in DTS with the script task in SSIS. Familiarity with .NET and C# framework is a plus.
