*MAX Rate is $52/hr on C2C for Engineer role, For Architect can go higher.* *Network Design Engineer & Network Design Architect (2 Different Positions with same client)* *1 year + * *Branchburg, NJ* *Responsibilities: * Produce detailed network designs based on requirements gathered from a variety of sources, such as high-level design documents, systems and network standards, marketing requirements, and meetings with technical project personnel. Attend project meetings as the team primary point of contact during project design phase. Report progress to project team and design team management, including tracking of milestone dates. This is a design position, not a hands-on network administration position. Requirements • IP Addressing and Subnetting – Both IPv4 and IPv6experience required • Routing and protocols – BGP and OSPF experience required; MPLS & QoS desired • Load balancers – F5 or equivalent - desired • Juniper Networks Switches and Routers – EX & MX Series • SNMP Management experience is a plus • Cisco Systems Switches and Routers – 6500, CRS, GSR (IOS, XR a plus), ESR • Layer 2 skills - Spanning Tree (PVST, RSTP), VLAN Trunking, port bundling • Experience in data networking and wireless communications is required including expert knowledge of TCP/IP; MPLS experience is a plus • GSM, UMTS, IMS infrastructure experience is required • LTE infrastructure experience preferred • CCNP/ JNCIP level or above preferred • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent data networking and telecommunications service experience Ideal candidate should have large-network design experience, including requirements gathering, creating Visio diagrams, and publishing detailed design documents. Candidate should possess expert knowledge and skill set of BGP & OSPF, general telephony architecture and principles, networking security (i.e. firewalls, SecureID, security protocols, TACACS and Radius), SNMP, network management, HP Openview, Concord eHealth and network equipment MIBs. MPLS, IPv6, and VoIP experience is preferred. A strong understanding of structured network design and the OSI Interconnect model especially how it relates to the design and deployment of structured networks is required. Candidate must be a solid communicator (both written and verbal) and a team player. Must be able to lead and participate in technical sessions, lead projects and coordinate technical implementation discussions. Candidate should have solid time management skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
