Microstrategy Architect Chicago IL 6 Months Need 10+Years of Microstrategy exp. Minimum 5 yrs of Architect experience. Here's a description of the project. We're looking for a very senior Microstrategy Architect. A. Overall Purpose of the Initial Assessment: Kohl's is seeking quotations for a detailed report assessing the current Microstrategy environment and identify activities that would decrease the processing on Teradata by leveraging the Microstrategy environment. You are requested to submit a draft fixed-bid Statement of Work for the work outlined below in Sections B and C. B. Expected Outcomes of the Initial Assessment: * Selected Vendor will provide a detailed report which will include: o Framework or Strategy for building Cubes and leveraging caching o Additional technology or tool set recommendations to support above strategy o Identification of low hanging/quick-win activities o Implementation Plan for above Framework o Proposed diagrams and architecture documentation o Assessment of a long-term implementation roadmap C. Technical Requirements: Environment breakdown: MSI version 9.3 with two servers connected to a 5 node Teradata cluster running version 13.10 Upgrades to MSI 9.4 and TD 14.10 are planned for this year. Please also include the following requirements in your draft SOW. 1. Assess the current data model (Physical, Logical, and Semantic) for the ability to build cubes and cache reports 2. Assess the current configuration of MSI 3. Assess current templates and standard reports 4. Assess the capabilities for identifying data sets for use in Cube building Knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence systems (prefer Teradata.
