Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *ESB Solutions Architect* *San Francisco, CA* *6+months* Our well known retail client is seeking a *ESB Solutions Architect*. ESB solution architect will lead technical resources by project, providing technical expertise on the webMethods platform. This position will report to the Senior Integration Architect. *Responsibilities:* · Define and provide continuous improvement of Integration processes and procedures based on industry standards. · Provide best practices for all aspects of the project lifecycle and deliver quality solutions that meet business requirements. · Provide technical vision and subject matter expertise for integration technologies. · Deliver reusable, extensible, and standardized solution across projects. · Coordinate activities with other internal and external organizations assigned to projects. · Develop conceptual and detailed architectural plans, and work with internal and external resources to drive the plans to completion. · Evaluate and select technical solutions based on business requirements and standards. · Research and present industry best practices to IT and business stakeholders at all levels. · Gather and analyze performance measurement feedback through load testing, profiling, and log analysis. · Guides application development personnel through a defined integration process resulting in a finalized system. · Provide support to projects in understanding and negotiating requirements from multiple and diverse stakeholders. · Collects, documents, and diagrams business system architectures and data flows. · Ensure performance monitoring of the applications and recommend improvements as needed. *Skills: * · Very strong experience with enterprise service bus *(ESB)* and service oriented architectures (SOA) required. · Very strong experience with technical team leadership required. · Strong ability to drive decisions through consensus and to influence change required. · Strong ability to design pragmatic solutions to complex business problems required. · Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies required. · Strong experience with cloud integration software preferred · Solid experience troubleshooting complex tasks and processes required. · Solid experience with change management processes required. · Strong understanding of technology within retail industry (POS, e-commerce, supply chain, and logistics systems) preferred. · 5+ years of *webMethods *8.x/9.x (Integration Server, Broker, My webMethods Server portal and TN) plus a minimum of six (6) years of EAI/ESB experience. · Experience with webMethods developer to create web services, flows, related integrations and BPM-based applications. · Detailed experience with Software AG *webMethods* 8.x or higher experience is required. · Some 9.x experience is a big plus. · Must have clustering and HA configuration experience. · Has familiarity with SDLC and Configuration Management. · CrossVista experience a huge plus. · Working knowledge of the following: · Operating systems (Unix/Linux, Microsoft Server, OS400/iOS5). · Databases (Oracle, SQLserver, MySQL & DB400). · Various Languages (BASH, Korn, PERL, SQL, Python, etc.). · Networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, NTP, SSH/SCP, SFTP, FTPS, ACLs, etc.). · Security/encryption (PGP, MD5, Kerberos, etc.). · Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). · Web Services (JMS, XML, WSDL, SOAP, HTTP, etc.). · Java/.NET development experience. · Experience troubleshooting issues related to installation, configuration or performance. · Can perform testing and tuning by measuring and analyzing performance over multiple time periods, configurations and load scenarios and has experience. · Identifying opportunities for tuning components such as, but not limited to, OS and JVM configurations, Broker, myWebMethods, Trading Networks usage and configuration, session management, and IS resource configurations. · JVM performance profiling. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Experience integrating large packaged applications like SAP Applications in the retail industry is a plus. · Must be highly organized with excellent technical, analytical, problem solving, presentation, communication and decision making skills and be able to interface with all levels of technical teams. · Education: · 8+ Years with BS or MS or 6+ Years with PhD. *Thanks and Regards,* *Shilpi Bist* *Technical Recruiter* *[image: images]* <http://www.sageci.com/> email: sb...@sagetl.com Phone: 732-851-1596/ 732-767-0010 Ext: 542 Gtalk: shilpi.recruiter1 Ymail: shilpi.recruiter *[image: Linkedin_Logo]* <http://www.linkedin.com/pub/shilpi-bist/82/944/7a7/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Resource Center" group.
