Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest. *POSITION* *Senior Mainframe Developers* *Olympia, WA* *Duration: 1 year* *Hourly Rate: $50 * *Note:* Candidates must complete the skills matrix. Candidates who do not meet the mandatory skills will not be considered for the position. *Typical Work:* Developing, testing and debugging programs and other software utilizing automation tools. Developing written estimates of time and resources required to implement systems changes. Developing technical specifications for system changes and improvements. Identifying and analyzing data and developing reports and other communications to provide meaningful information for decision-making, prioritizing resources, responding to request and for future planning etc. Converting data from project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to create or modify computer programs. Preparing, or receiving from system analyst, detailed specifications to describe sequence of steps that program must follow and input, output, and logical operations involved. Senior level candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the last 8 years in the skills and knowledge areas. *Mandatory Skills:* Experience developing in a system that supports the determination of eligibility for human services programs (e.g. TANK, Medicaid, Food Assistance) Experience programming in COBOL and CICS Experience with IBM Information Management System (IMS) and DB2 on mission critical systems. Experience working in JCL Experience analyzing and evaluating proposed system changes and estimating work effort to implement those changes.
