Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *SSAS Developer* *Location: Owings Mills MD* *Duration: 6 months* *Rate: $43/hr* *Interview: Skype* *GC or USC only* *SQL Server Analysis Services Developer* The SQL Server Analysis Services Developer is a member of the Database Management Team and is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining data cubes used to support reports/processes for the corporate reporting for all business units. *ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Individual’s primary responsibility will be designing, developing and implementing SQL Server Analysis Services cubes to support corporate reporting for Business Intelligence, Financial and Operational Reporting. Individual will participate in requirements gathering and logical/physical design of data augmentation processes needed to support cubes. Individual will assist in and/or complete all documentation needed to support cubes Individual will assist in administering the SQL Server environments as needed. Tasks may include database creation, user creation, applying privileges, deploying packages, deploying cubes, deploying reports, creating database backups, scheduling jobs, etc. Individual will assist in design and development of SSRS reports based upon SSAS cubes and other data warehousing objects. Will work as part of Database Management team to ensure data security and best practice adherences for all corporate data. Will report to Director of Enterprise Data Architecture. *KNOWLEDGE: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related experience. Minimum 3-5 years of experience building/modifying SQL Server Analysis Services cubes. (SSAS 2008 or later) Minimum 3-5 years of experience building/modifying SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS 2008 or later). Prefer candidate with SSIS 2008 or greater experience Strong T-SQL abilities. Experience creating data flows and process flow diagrams, technical requirements documents, and product support documents Experience utilizing data virtualization software to present data is a plus. Experience in converting from SQL Server 2008 R2 to SQL Server 2012 or higher is a plus. *Skills: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience building reports of a financial or operational nature.
