Work involves planning, implementing, and monitoring security measures for information systems and infrastructure to regulate access to computer data files and to prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information. The worker coordinates with IT and business project teams to identify and document security vulnerabilities and works with developers to coordinate solutions. Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment. * WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS* * Minimum Requirements:* Years Skills/Experience 7 Develops and conducts security scanning on applications, application programming interface (API) and systems. 7 Experience with web services security (i.e. threats, vulnerabilities, mitigation, security best practices for protection) 5 Conducts assessments of threats and vulnerabilities, determines deviations from acceptable configurations and policy. 5 Develops and recommends appropriate mitigation countermeasures in development, operational and non-operational situations to safeguard confidential data against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure. 5 Performs and reviews technical risk assessments and reviews of applications and systems, including application architecture and environment. 5 Verifies that applications meet security standards and that appropriate security patches or upgrades are applied. 5 Develops procedures for maintaining security standards/requirements for assigned product applications/systems. 5 Experience using application scanning tool or similar security testing tool. 5 Experience performing manual application and system penetration vulnerability testing and exploiting vulnerabilities. 6 Experience in developing secure web applications. 5 Experience performing black box (dynamic) testing and code reviews (static reviews). 6 Experience performing manual verification of vulnerabilities found during assessments. 5 Thorough knowledge of information technology security methodologies. 5 Skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals and clients. 5 Ability to analyze and problem solve. 5 Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with others at all times in the course of conducting business 5 Skill in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy. Working knowledge and previous experience in maintenance and support of secured systems.
