Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. * • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business. • Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences. • Influences development team to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches. • Resource to development team. • Develops pioneering approaches to emerging issues. *Primary Responsibilities: * • Client facing role, should demonstrate abilities expertise managing client expectations. • Involve in developing, supporting, enhancing and modifying existing software applications. • Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. • Review the work of others. • Develop innovative approaches. • Sought out as expert. • Serves as a team player. • Independent Contributor. • Hands on development experience is a must. *Skill Set (Must): * *• 6+ years’ experience working in a high volume DataStage 8.5 environment. * *• Expert in developing Oracle procedures, functions, packages, database triggers and troubleshooting using PL/SQL and SQL. * • Experienced in implementing advanced features of Oracle like Autonomous Transactions, Ref-Cursors, PL/SQL Tables, Table Partitioning, V-Arrays, Materialized Views, • Strong experience writing JCL Unloads, handling VSAM files and automation* Merge statements,SQL*Loader, External Tables, Pipelined/Table functions, Result Cache, With Clause and Multi Table Inserts. * *• Strong experience on Mainframe DB2 environment. * • Vast experience troubleshooting performance issues, SQL tuning is a must. • 4+ years of strong hands on experience working on Pentaho PDI (Candidates with Pentaho BI will not be considered). • Strong hands on deep pocket experience with PERL, Unix Shell scripting and crontab. • Experience with converting EBCDIC to ASCII. • Strong hands on experience on automation tool Tivoli Workload Scheduler. • Strong Data Analysis and Data Profiling experience. • Evaluate and understand a variety of modeling and/or diagramming techniques, with the ability to create process flow diagrams and the ability read data flow and entity relationship models. • Develop ETL code meeting 100 percent of technical specifications and business requirements according to the established designs. *• 4+ years experience in applications systems analysis and/or development and/or support. * *• 4+ years’ experience with multiple file structures and programming languages. * • 4+ years experience with high level technical phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities • Thorough understanding of technological infrastructure and how it relates to projects is a plus • 4+ years experience with Oracle, SQL Server in Unix environment. • 4+ years experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) • Experience with any SSH client. • Healthcare domain background is a plus. • Clinical domain experience is a plus. • Knowledge with HIE formats 837 i&p, HL7/ADT is a plus.
