They are in process of upgrading 2003 servers. The resource should have BA + PM skill set. Technical knowledge of Windows servers is added advantage. *The role involves:* • Gather project requirements working with stakeholders • Prepare schedule • Stakeholder Communication • Periodic status reporting • Risk mitigation • The Business Analyst job family defines skills for formulating and defining system scope using information technology and industry knowledge/requirements, based on both user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements. • The job progression identifies responsibilities ranging from assisting, formulating and defining systems scope and objectives to self-directed activities that client’s long term improvements in business processes • Responsible for the functional design and architecture of application systems across all technologies and platforms • Translates user requirements to process and data requirements. • Converts specifications about business problems into sequence of detailed programming instructions to solve business problems through automation support. • Designs application's technical infrastructure, such as specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. • Constructs program flow charts to describe the processing of data and development of precise steps and processing logic across all platforms. • Provides broad understanding of platforms and applications across all technologies *Preferred Skills:* • Elicit business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, business process descriptions, uses cases, scenarios, business analysis and workflow analysis. • Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by technical team, including offshore developers. • Able to comprehend/use Logical Information models and data models. • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Effectively facilitate meetings with diverse/strong stakeholders. Self-starter, keeps on task and delivers timely results. Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner both orally and in writing. Listens carefully and asks questions to understand the views and concerns of others. • Collaborate with customers on business case development, and gathering and modeling business requirements & data, business processes, and other business rules in order to ensure alternatives have been carefully considered and that the chosen solution meets business objectives. - Responsible for documenting, developing and finalizing business and functional requirements. • Ensure solutions are developed to meet requirements while adhering to governance and Information Protection policies. *Description:* The Project Manager will coordinate complex activities that will span functions, organizations, and geographic regions and cultures. Success in this role requires the incumbent to build strong relationships with the representatives from various business units as well as managers and SMEs in the business to gain a deep understanding of business needs and processes. The Project Manager places emphasis on governance, stakeholder management, and benefits realization to drive delivery of many interrelated projects. This role will ensure that project design and delivery is tightly aligned with business needs, strategy, and expectations. *Responsibilities may include: * • Project Management including Front-End-Loading (planning), budget preparation and tracking, communication to stakeholders, status reports, and overall project execution tasks. Manage projects to ensure they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with specified scope and quality. • Once approved, lead the execution phase of the project. Effectively manage project activities including communications, scope management, organizational change management, design, development, testing, data preparation, conversion, and training. • Estimating project skill requirements, and then working with resource deployment managers to identify appropriate resources and manage their integration into the team. • Proactively manages changes in Project scope, identifies any potential crisis or issues and devises contingency plans to mitigate concerns. • Must have a proven track record in working in a diverse international environment and must possess appropriate skills to interface successfully and Joint Venture personnel. • Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal/external customers, IT, assigned business unit, and senior executives to influence project teams and gain consensus on the selection of the most viable solutions. • Coach, mentor, and lead personnel within a technical team environment • Communicate project costs, quality, schedule, issues and decisions to stakeholders in a timely manner • Report project metrics on a periodic basis and alert management to changes to scope and budget as well as any significant deviations from project schedule. *Basic/Required:* • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Bachelor’s Degree • Project leadership experience and implementation of Database Projects in diverse international locations. • Experience with Project Management Methodology, Processes and Tools and systems, including MS Project. • 5+ years Functional discipline expertise in Database Technologies • 5+ years managing Large IT projects with budgets of $2 million or more • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Ability to drive project teams through development, testing, conversion, and rollout activities in a global environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong Organization Change Management skills.
