*Solarwinds Implemantation Consultant* *3 mo project* This person can work remote from anywhere in the US. The client would like for them to be onsite the first week or two to start though. *Solarwinds – Infrastructure Applications* Infrastructure Applications is responsible for maintaining and configuring solutions which support the management of the IT infrastructure. - Configures and enhances software solutions that bring visibility to infrastructure activity, relationships and inventory. - Teams with Enterprise Architecture on the evaluation and selection of new solutions to meet the future state needs of infrastructure management. - Consults with server, desktop, network, database and application teams, to enrich and enable IT functions. - Demonstrates knowledge of infrastructure technologies and protocols, across multiple platforms, and in multiple levels of the technology stack. - Configures and enhances software solutions used for IT operations. - Provides services to enable the maintenance, health and protection of hardware and software assets. *Accountabilities in this role* - Maintain an enterprise-class suite of monitoring, alerting, and event management tools including IBM Impact, Netcool/OMNIbus, Solarwinds, BMC's EUEM, and MIR3 - Maintaining/Creating/Documenting Development standards for monitoring, alerting and event management - Applies an understanding of event correlation to assist in logical alerts and root cause analysis efforts - Act as a 3rd level on-call escalation for offshore, as part of a rotation - Engage application and infrastructure teams to establish monitoring baselines - Work with project teams to estimate labor and expenses for new projects requiring new or modified monitoring and alerting - Mentor offshore members of the technical staff and develop processes, architecture, and tools for improved system availability and operational efficiency - 5 years of experience in enterprise monitoring and alerting - Experience with IBM Impact and Netcool/OMNIbus (7.1 or later) - Experience with Solarwinds (specifically NPM and SAM modules) - Proficiency in SQL queries to facilitate alert and report generation - Proficiency in scripting with Perl, PowerShell, or VB -- *Thanks,* Nicole Xie *Office: (908) 429-8008 x315* *Cell: (908) 256-2714 * *Email: nicole....@cyberthink.com* www.cyberThink.com/staffing <http://www.cyberthink.com/staffing> Click here to view current job openings. <http://www.maxhire.net/cp/?E95E6C361D43515B7E511F29> [image: Description: Description: Description: cid:image003.png@01CF39EB.F4A64970] *Connecting with the best and brightest is our goal, please ask about our referral bonus policy.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Resource Center" group.
