*.Net Developer :: [EAD/GC/Citizens]Location: Los Angeles, CA* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Interview mode: Phone hire* *Responsibilities: * •Design, develop and test highly-available web applications, *primarily using ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>* •End-to-end development of new features from concept to deployment •Experience with APIs, both writing your own (primarily REST), as well as integrating with 3rd party •Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that follow industry standards •Create specific, detailed, and clear documentation for internal and external use •Work with other business units in order to gather and understand the business needs and find creative solutions *Qualifications:* *•Minimum 8-10 years of experience developing software in .NET framework.* *•Strong development foundation in Microsoft stack and flexibility to work with open source technologies.* *•Experience designing, developing highly scalable web applications primarily using ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET> MVC.* •Experience developing large-scale, multi-tier, distributed applications with emphasis on performance and scalability. •Experience working with SOA technologies and developing REST API’s. •End-to-end development of new product features from concept to deployment in .NET framework. *•Experience with front-end development—JavaScript, HTML, jQuery.* *•Solid data modeling and programming skills with MS SQL; NoSQL desired but not necessary.* •Experience with unit testing or exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) and Business Driven Development (BDD). •Proficiency with OO design principles and design patterns. •Experience with Agile software engineering processes and methodologies •*Exposure to .NET open* source frameworks—*Web API, Nancyfx, ServiceStack, OpenRasta—preferred but not required*. •Fast learner and self-starter. •Attention to detail and quality. •Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. •BS in Computer Science; MS in Computer Science preferred but not required.
