Must have
Extensive experience with *past Interchange development* *in C/Unix.* If
they worked on prior MMIS implementation Wisconsin, Ohio that is even
better. Past HP reference is a plus, if candidate is excellent they do not
need to be local.
Representative duties include
Under general direction, develops and maintains data processing
applications which meet customer business needs
Codes, tests and implements computer programs in developmental and
maintenance modes
Defines system requirements and priorities with customers and
ensures that daily needs are met
Develops system and programming specifications
Designs data processing solutions based on business need and
technical considerations
Researches and resolves application production problems
Monitors application performance and performs run time improvement
functions
Prepares system documentation
Job Requirements
Minimum two years of work experience in C/UNIX
Experience in healthcare industry
Experienced in these technologies: C, UNIX, SQL, Scripting tools
(K-Shell, C-Shell, UNIX, Oracle, etc.) and Oracle
Full understand of basic commands (Grep, etc.)
Experience with Systems development life cycle
College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Business Knowledge with Managed Care, Claims processing, MAR/MMIS,
Managed Care and Finance
Ability to code and test computer program
Ability to respond to customer problems/need
Ability to interact with operations, support, and customer group
