We have below urgent requirement for *Java Developer* for a contractual position at *Indianapolis, IN. * *Job Position: **Java Developer* *Location:* *Indianapolis, IN* *Duration: Long Term* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* =========================================== Primary responsibilities include analysis, design, and programming needed to support the new Java web services and applications. Position will also oversee enhancements and maintenance to existing Java applications. Job Duties: Responsible for designing robust high capacity web services and the web service interfaces (WSDL and XML schema). Responsible for aligning new development with corporate direction. Responsible for technical consulting across Java development team and aiding other team members in solving complex architectural and performance issues in the production and test environments. Experience regression and capacity testing web service is required with ability to help implement new technologies. Participate in the selection, deployment and support of new development frameworks and vendor products. Job Requirements: M.S or equivalent degree in computer science is preferred, or BS in computer science with equivalent work experience may serve as a substitute. 8+ years of experience in multiple phases SDLC, ranging from analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance. Experience and knowledge of Java technologies is required ¿ core java, servlets, xml processing, SAX, DOM, XMLBeans, using Oracle stored procedures. Familiarity with JAXP, Tomcat/JBoss is a plus. Knowledge using Oracle client or SQL Server, writing and executing SQL queries is required. 3+ years¿ experience doing development in Eclipse is preferred. Knowledge and familiarity of Linux, and Windows environments. Familiar with tools such as Harvest, svn, SoapUI, putty, cygwin, DbVisualizer, XMLSpy is a plus. Must have good interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a customer-attentive, team-focused environment. Minimum Requirements: B.S., B.A., or A.S. degree in computer-related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience may serve as a substitute.
