*Position: Project Manager* *Location: Omaha, Nebraska. * *Duration: contract* *Must need *Java and Primavera experience. Project Manager having experience in Java and Primavera. JD for your ready reference is as follows: *Position Summary:* The Technical PM position to manage Application related projects, business initiatives and operational support. Demonstrate proven Project Management skills and the ability to drive large, complex projects in a multi-department portfolio, knowing when to escalate and seek guidance. Have strong communication, presentation and cost management skills. Should have experience managing waterfall and iterative projects. *Requirements:* Build out and manage the work stream project plan, including detailed IT and business tasks, hours, resources and dependencies to determine project schedule, necessary hardware, software and resources, along with Core estimation and Application teams for assigned work stream Waterfall as well as Agile Methodologies Pragmatic, personable with very clear and efficient communication style PMP Certification is highly desired Strong technology (JAVA) background (requirements, development, application management, maintenance, operations, migrations, upgrades, etc) *Key project management experience:* Experience in process-based maturity model, such as ITIL or CMMI Experience managing all phases of the software development lifecycle *Experience with the following business processes:* Experience as a project manager in a CMMI 3+ or Big 4 consulting company and/or in the following industries: Transportation Financial Banking *Key personal competencies & skills:* Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and flexibility skills in a team-oriented environment. Leadership qualities, particularly in moving stakeholders to common vision and decisions Effective management skills in setting direction, building effective teams and driving them to meet objectives Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to interface with people at all levels of the organization; technical and business sponsors to foster a collaborative environment.
